Andras Fox
Melbourne producer Andras Fox is building a reputation for spaced out future funk with a deep house lean where a rich analogue sound is all that really matters. His more ambient outing earlier this year Overworld drew high praise from us, while 2014’s other offering ‘Vibrate On Silence’ could in name alone be reference the 21st century ‘Pocket Calculator’. When we asked Andras for his input he was about to drive from Hamburg to Cologne on the autobahn, but that didn’t sway his choice…

This record was the first time I heard the “soft” side of technological music. It was as much the flowers growing along the sides of the autobahn as the asphalt itself – it was a dream of a tropical traffic island – see: Ananas Symphonie.
