The debut full-length from London producer Romare has been pitched as ‘Voodoo Ray’ remixed by DJ Shadow, which, if he pulls off, is a hybrid we’re looking forward to sinking our teeth into. Taking name and influence from Romare Bearden, a collagist whose core work is influenced by Black America, Archie Fairhurst’s own work explores his fascination with African-American culture and Projections is a continuation into the field.
