Listen: Ray Keith’s Drum & Bass (Devon Turnbull’s Listening Room at 180 Studios)

A journey through Ray Keith's musical and personal history.

‍" When that music exploded, we became the kings of our own kings, do you know what I'm saying? That feeling of being able to put out a record and say 'fuck the majors'. We were distributing, and they were all like, 'What is going on?' All of us said, 'No, we're gonna do it ourselves. We had the record shops, we had the people, the raves started to grow".

Legendary drum & bass DJ and producer Ray Keith joined us in the Devon Turnbull Listening Room at 180 Studios to discuss the music and personal history that has shaped his decades-long music career.

From the early influences of soul to the British dancefloor developments of the '90s, this one-of-a-kind talk gives a thrilling insight from one of the most important names in dance music.
