Due at the end of August, the Baltimore duo’s fifth album promises to solidify rather than over-throw the dream-pop sound they’ve cultivated so carefully, with Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally vowing to “let ourselves evolve while fully ignoring the commercial context in which we exist.” As far as artwork goes, the record sleeve will actually be made of red velvet, with a special clear vinyl edition also slated.
