Sam Shepherd drops his first material since last year’s Elaenia.
Released through his own Pluto label, ‘Kuiper’ features two tracks, the first of which is an epic 18-minute live recording of the title track, made with members of his current live band, Leo Taylor, Alex Reeve and Susumu Mukai.
The flip sees Shepherd dig up material recorded during the Elaenia sessions, ‘For Marmish Part II’ an accompaniment to ‘For Marmish’ which originally appeared on the album, and features Shepherd singing. [via RA]
