Felicia Atkinson creates an “imaginary garden” through piano, on Echo

Sublimely minimal sonics to sooth the mind and spirit.

Felicia Atkinson’s album Echo has been released on vinyl for the first time, via Boomkat Editions | Documenting Sound.

Atkinson composed Echo during an artist residency at La Becque when COVID-19 spread during Europe in early March 2020, subsequently dedicating the album to “anyone in pain or isolation.”

Across the six pieces, she brings together poetry with ambient, field recordings, saxophone, and piano.

Echo follows Boomkat’s release of This Lingering Twilight Sparkle on vinyl, in January.
