“These are tunes I listen to if I feel down in order to lift my spirits.”

With quarantines and lockdowns due to the Coronavirus pandemic ongoing around the world, artists are finding new ways to connect with people worldwide.

In VF Live – our favourite collectors take you inside their homes and record shops, for intimate selects and mixes.

Londoner Eliza Rose has spent over a decade working at her local record shop Flashback, acquiring a formidable collection along the way – sourced from these racks and beyond.

For her second VF Live set, Rose dips into her collection, to unearth a personal selection of her favourite uplifting records – traversing from Curtis Mayfield soul to Portuguese folk and beyond.

Watch and listen above, find out more about the set check out the tracklist below.

“This set was recorded at home in my bedroom, (un-made bed just out of shot) with all my records to hand, which I have been loving as it means I have my collection at the tips of my fingers I’m not having to think I wish bought that – which I am terrible for.

For my second edition of VF Live, I wanted to share some of my favourite records. This selection is very personal to me as these are tunes I listen to if I feel down in order lift my spirits. They are tracks that continue to resurface in my life time and time again – staples of my personal listening, a selection of tunes that I doubt I will ever tire of.”
