The Vinyl Factory have collaborated with Blain|Southern Gallery to present two exhibitions by artist duo Tim Noble & Sue Webster.

Nihilistic Optimistic, which takes place at Blain|Southern between the 10th October and 24th November 2012 is Noble and Webster’s first major solo show in London since 2006, and features six large-scale works which build upon the artists’ ongoing investigation into self-portraiture.

The second exhbition NO, will take place at The Vinyl Factory gallery in Chelsea between 12th October and 4th November is made up of 11 iconic portrait photographs of the artists taken by Dennis Morris. As well as his celebrated work with The Sex Pistols and Bob Marley, Morris was instrumental in creating the seminal sleeves, logo and metal box for John Lydon’s band PiL.

The Vinyl Factory have produced a limited edition vinyl box set to accompany the exhibition which is presented in a clothbound, clamshell box and includes a 10” record made by Noble and Webster, sleeve-work photography by Dennis Morris and a 104-page hardback book, featuring original interviews, photographs and artworks, produced by Blain|Southern.
