Spanning electro-funk, post-punk, tango, jazz-fusion, techno-pop and beyond.

Soundway is releasing a new compilation, titled Síntesis Moderna: An Alternative Vision Of Argentinian Music 1980-1990, on 3xLP this October.

Curated by record collectors, DJs and producers Ric Piccolo and Ariel Harari, the compilation seeks to uncover the country’s hidden synth and computer-led musical creations.

In doing so, it shines a light on artists working across Italo disco, electro-funk, post-punk, tango, jazz-fusion, Afro-folk, and techno pop.

Síntesis Moderna follows the label’s release of Scan Man’s Arabian 12″, in May.

Pre-order the compilation from Bandcamp in advance of its 21st October release; check out the artwork and tracklist below.
