The first single from her new album.
Taken from Harvey’s forthcoming album The Hope Demolition Project, PJ Harvey has released a special 7″ vinyl of first single ‘The Wheel’. The limited edition features etched artwork on its B-side.
Due in April, The Hope Six Demolition Project was partly written and recorded at Somerset House in London, with the public invited to watch the process from behind one-way glass. Harvey then debuted 10 new songs as part of a multimedia show in London last year with photographer Seamus Murphy.
‘The Wheel’ is a tribute to the European refugee crisis and was initially released with a documentary-style music video.
