Boasting an updated design, the MC901 includes a 300-Watt vacuum tube amplifier and 600-Watt solid state amplifier on one chassis, with a vacuum tube section that powers mid and upper drivers, and a DualView Power Output Meter.

“The two amplifier sections of the MC901 are designed to work together in a synergistic relationship and are specifically engineered to assure that each section only amplifies its intended frequencies,” shares McIntosh. “Each amplifier section has its own discrete power supply so neither siphons power or performance away from the other.”

Retailing at $17,500, each amplifier measures 17.5″ x 13.25″(including feet) x 29.5″, with a weight of 170 lbs.

Pre-orders are available now, with the MC901 shipping in the UK and Europe in January 2020.
