Georgia Anne Muldrow and Elzhi collaborate on Zhigeist

Georgia Anne Muldrow and Elzhi are releasing a new collaborative album, called Zhigeist, via Nature Sounds this March.

Its 11 tracks mix elements of jazz, hip-hop, funk, soul, and rock; produced entirely by Muldrow, Zhigeist combines her psychedelic instrumentation with Elzhi’s lyricism.

“Lyrically and musically, this album is a love letter to people of color,” explains Elzhi. “What makes this project special is our determination to put medicine in the music.”

Zhigeist follows Muldrow’s last album, VWETO III.
