Duran Duran bow to public demand to release live LP A Diamond In The Mind.

Recorded during their 2011 world tour, A Diamond In The Mind features classic Duran hits including ‘Planet Earth’, ‘Notorious’ and ‘Rio’, alongside tracks from the band’s 2010 album All You Need Is Now, produced by Mark Ronson.

The double LP, which will be limited to 2,000 copies, captures the band’s glittering visual identity and comes housed in a diamond-dust screen printed gatefold cover. Speaking from the studio in London, where the band are working on their new album, founding member and keyboardist Nick Rhodes said:

“I still find it thrilling when we release a record on vinyl, even more so when I know that every detail is precisely as it should be. The live show we captured in Manchester, definitely sounds at its best in this format. Since the title is A Diamond in the Mind, when it came time for the packaging design, it occurred to me that we should use some real diamond dust on our cover artwork.”

Duran Duran’s A Diamond In The Mind will be released on 25th May by The Vinyl Factory. Click HERE to pre-order now.
