Near Mint founder Russ Ryan makes his VF Live debut, playing gospel, modern soul, disco, house, and r’n’b records in London.

“I’ve reached for records that are close to my heart – with newly acquired selections alongside much-loved classics. I feel like it’s as important to look backwards as much as we look forward. So, I was careful to spin some fantastic releases from recent years, whilst also delving into records by the originators of music that I love.

We’re also lucky to live at a time where rarities, and holy grails are reissued. For my set, I also wanted to tip my hat to a few killer reissues that have dropped recently too.

A lot of these records came the Near Mint Record Fairs we run in East London. if you’re in the area, be sure to come pay us a visit.
