Brighton-based DJ Kirollus has been working at his local specialist record store Uptight Records for the past eight years, amassing a mighty collection along the way. In 2020, he also launched a bi-weekly mix series called Forty Minutes of Funk, to help push boogie, funk, and soul, and the talented DJs within the scene.

Kirollus returns for his 6th Live session with blazing selection classics and rarities encompassing: “Eighties vocoder funk, boogie, disc, modern funk, and house music from New York, Chicago, Paris, and London. The mix ends with a gorgeous and sophisticated, under-the-radar, electro-inspired private press record by writing and production duo Nick Braddy & Richard Bassoff from 1989.”
