Ausweis bitte.
Talk about comprehensive, Franz Ferdinand’s new LP Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action is being released as a limited 500 piece “passport” edition that will cover pretty much every audio format available.
In fact, it’s less of a passport and more of a key to the city, collecting the Glasgow band’s first album since 2009’s Tonight on 180gram vinyl, backed with an exclusive live recording entitled ‘Right Notes, Right Words, Wrong Order’, from a session at Konk Studios in London.
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s a mystery 12″ single, two 7″ singles, one containing a brace of exclusive tracks, the other coloured and housed in some kind of “spined outer sleeve”, a 6-panel CD of the main album, a bunch of postcards you can use to write to friends who didn’t get a copy and all the high-quality digital audio you could desire.
