Soundway unveils latest Felbm LP, mixing minimal ambient and ’80s indie pop

Complete with field recordings of wind chimes and bird songs.

Dutch producer and musician Felbm is releasing a new album – titled Tape 3 & Tape 4 – via Soundway Records this October.

On Tape 3 & Tape 4, Felbm brings together field recordings of wind chimes and bird songs with melodic instrumentation as well as minimal ambient, ’80s English indie-pop and Brazilian bossa-nova influences.

“Inspiration came from the emptiness after a stranded relationship, finding balance, peace and strength within yourself again”, shares Felbm. “Somehow I feel some optimism can be found in these songs that perhaps reflects how I experienced this process.”

It follows the label’s release of Reuben Vaun Smith’s debut album Warm Nights.
