Samii fuses soul, r’n’b and broken beat on debut EP, Figuring It Out

Vocalist and songwriter Samii is releasing her debut EP, called Figuring It Out, via Dego’s 2000black label this November.

Looking to her own experiences of love and loss, Samii presents Figure It Out as “an ode to self-discovery.”

Across its four-tracks Samii brings together elements of soul, house, r’n’b, disco, and jazz-inflected broken beats.

Figure It Out follows 2000black’s release of Degos’ The Never Seen On Wax Jams vol 2.
