Caterina Barbieri readies new album, Spirit Exit

Inspired by female philosophers, mystics and poets from across the ages.

Caterina Barbieri is releasing a new album called Spirit Exit, via her own label light-years this July.

Composed primarily with a modular synth rig, Spirit Exit marks the first of Barbieri’s albums to be fully written and recorded in her home studio.

Spirit Exit draws on the works of female philosophers, mystics and poets, united by “their strength at cultivating vast internal worlds.”

It follows her last full length release — Fantas Variations.
