Originally composed to soundtrack an exhibition exploring the intersection of harmony and discord.

Japanese artist 7FO is releasing a new album, called Music For Himitsu, via Métron Records this May.

The album was originally created to soundtrack a 2014 exhibition by Osaka art collective Himitsu, which combined photography, ceramics and plants to explore the intersection of harmony and discord.

Across the record 7FO combines field recordings and found sounds with improvised guitar loops.

It follows Métron Records’ release of Early Fern’s Place Of Rest album.
