Ostgut Ton sub-label A-TON is releasing the second instalment of its vinyl-only Function series, Recompiled II/II, this November.

“A-TON is a new platform of Berghain’s in-house imprint Ostgut Ton focussing on ambient, archive and alternative music. It is an outlet for music outside of the club context,” says the label.

Like Recompiled I/II, which was released earlier this year, Recompiled II/II features unreleased tracks, new edits and live versions from techno veteran, and Berghain resident, Function.

The 2xLP album includes material from Function’s previous Sandwell District, Synewave and Infrastructure records between 1996-2011, and liner notes by Interdimensional Transmission’s Brendan M. Gillen.
