In VF Live, DJs take you inside their homes, record stores, and studios for intimate selects and mixes.

Melbourne-based DJs and party promoters Sophie McAlister and Lori helm a show on Skylab Radio and promote events together under the $CHOOLGIRL banner.

For this VF Live set, the pair go back-to-back from behind the counter at Northside Records, spinning art-disco, amapiano, and leftfield hip-hop.

“Lori is a singer, DJ, events producer, my coworker, DJ partner and all around 10/10 human,” says Sophie. “We played some records from the shop and our personal collections; songs with positive messages, local releases — an array of styles. We dropped an inside rainbow.”
