’60s and ’70s soul, Brazilian fusion, jazz and more, from her sunny London abode.
In VF Live, our favourite collectors take you inside their homes, record shops, and studios – for intimate mixes and performances.
For Ruby Savage’s second set, she traverses from ’60s and ’70s soul to Brazilian fusion, jazz and beyond.
Watch and listen to the set above, find out more about it and check out the tracklist below.
“I spent so much time in this room playing records to myself! Proper home listening comfort music. Usually soothing my ears from the night before, or to come…
For the right reasons (promise) a lot of the collection didn’t make it to the dance floor (though always do my best to switch things up!) Some music is just better when listened to in the privacy of your own home. Since I happen to be moving out this month it only felt right this once to let you in and give you a fly on the wall moment. A lil first, and fina,l glimpse of the crib sharing some of my afternoon favourites. Gonna miss this place!!”
