Afrofunk meets electronics in DJ Khalab’s On The Corner debut

On The Corner is releasing its third record of 2018, DJ Khalab’s Zaire.

Marking Khalab’s OTC debut, Zaire EP features two original tracks taken from Khalab’s forthcoming solo album Black Noise 2084, alongside two remixes by Medlar and Will LV.

A frequent collaborator with Clap Clap, Khalab also joined Jason Moran, Jeremy Deller and The Vinyl Factory Lathe at the Venice Biennale 2015 for a special series of performances.

Zaire follows OTC’s release of Penya’s Super Liminal, one of our favourite albums from January.
