Collaboration with A Dead Forest Index recorded live at Doug Aitken’s Station To Station this summer.
Savages are to have their performance with A Dead Forest Index released on limited edition hand-painted vinyl by The Vinyl Factory. Recorded in the intimate setting of the Barbican’s art gallery space at Station To Station this summer, In What I’m Seeing; The Sun saw the band set up opposite duo A Dead Forest Index for two intense and immersive shows with choreographer/dancer Fernanda Muñoz-Newsome and dance artist Rosalie Wahlfrid.
Manufactured on The Vinyl Factory Press which was installed at the Barbican for the duration of Station To Station, the edition of 300 features individually hand-painted mixed-media sleeves produced at Åbäke’s pop-up studio at the 30 day happening, a selection of which you can see above.
Conceived specifically for this performance, In What I’m Seeing; The Sun is available to pre-order now from The Vinyl Factory online shop.
