Floating Points & Marta Salogni collaborate on Tomaga rework

The latest in Phonica Records’ Special Editions collection.

Floating Points and Marta Salogni are teaming up for a two-track release on December 2.

The newest instalment in Phonica Records’ Special Editions, Intimate Immensity / A Call From The Eaves will see Floating Points and Marta Salogni reinterpreting Tomaga’s “Intimate Immensity”. The b-side is an original collaboration between the pair.

In light of the death of Tom Relleen, one-half of Tomaga, in 2020, all proceeds from the sale of this release are going to the Free Youth Orchestra, a charity set up in Relleen’s name. The organisation is dedicated to removing financial barriers between children and access to musical equipment by providing instruments and free workshops run by local musicians.
