Hunchin’ all day and night.
Hunee is launching a new label called Lifetones.
Its first release – a 12″ by Hydromantic titled Archipelago, will be released in January.
Though few details have been revealed about the imprint and its inaugural record, an extract from T. S Eliot’s 1942 poem Little Gidding accompanies the announcement, which reads: “we shall not cease from exploration / and the end of all our exploring / will be to arrive where we started / and know the place for the first time.”
Hydromantic’s four-track Archipelago EP moves from stripped-back, percussive techno on the A-side, backed with twirling drums and acid-hued synth loops on the flip.
