The ATH-M50xBT2 features an AK4331 DAC and dedicated internal headphone amp, which the brand claims will “provide clear, high-fidelity sound.”

It also features a low-latency mode to reduce delay, and keep audio and video synced when streaming, as well as dual mics for clearer audio during phone calls.

Retailing for £179, the headphone has a battery life of up to 50 hours on a full charge, while a 10-minute ‘rapid charge’ is enough to sustain it for up to 3 hours.

Alongside ATH-M50xBT2, Audio-Technica also recently launched an entry-level studio microphone — the AT2040.
