Berlin’s Institute for Sound and Music is launching a new immersive sound and visual installation called the Hexadome this spring.

According to the museum, “the ISM Hexadome is an immersive 360° audiovisual exhibition combining art and technology.”

It features “visual projection architecture designed by Berlin digital media studio, Pfadfinderei, and the ‘Klangdom’, an advanced multi-channel speaker configuration created by ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics.”

ISM Hexadome’s opening exhibition will include 9 audiovisual performances and installations, including work by Brian Eno, Thom Yorke, Holly Herndon, Peter van Hoesen and Heleen Blanken.

The Hexadome will open in Berlin at Martin-Gropius-Bau from 29th March 29th to 22nd April, before touring in Europe and the USA through 2019.
