With reissues continuing to dominate sales.

The top-selling vinyl albums and singles in the UK have been released by Official Charts.

Read more: Vinyl Factory’s 50 favourite albums of 2020

It follows news that UK vinyl sales continued to grow for a 13th year in a row, reaching the highest point since the ’90s, with 4.8 million records sold. This was echoed in the US, where vinyl sales also reached a 30-year-high.

As with previous years, during 2020 reissues continued to dominate vinyl sales.

Seven of the top ten best selling albums were reissues: Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours came out on top, followed by Oasis’ What’s The Story Morning Glory, and Amy Winehouse’ Back to Black. In terms of newly released albums, Harry Styles’ Fine Line came in at number 5, followed by Arctic Monkeys’ Live At The Royal Albert Hall, and IDLES’ Ultra Mono – one of our favourite releases of 2020, as well as the fastest selling LP of the year – at number 10.

On the singles front, Liam Gallagher’s ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ took the number one spot, followed by Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ at two, and Rolling Stones’ ‘Living In A Ghost Town’ at three.
