Secondary Phase contains episodes 7 to 12 from the series, originally broadcast in 1978 to 1980.

It follows the release of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: Primary Phase, in a 3xLP box set earlier this year.

The Secondary Phase 3xLP deluxe orange variant comes with a 20-page book, including sleeve notes by Douglas Adams’s official biographer, Jem Roberts and Paddy Kingsland of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. An exclusive edition, limited to 500 copies, contains a 12”x12” print signed by Kingsland.
