Sunun describes the new six-track EP as “a step towards rhythm tracks, with shallower themes and confidence — with priority [given] to the ancient components: the drum and voice.” The result is a brooding melange of warm, enveloping bass tones, cavernous drums, and meditative, breathy samples.

Light follows Sunun’s collaborative EP as SRS with Giant Swan’s Robin Stewart, Data Fossil, released on Bokeh Versions in June.

Proceeds from the the EP will be donated to local charity Ace, which organises 1:1 music sessions with teenagers.
