DJs Yoshizawa Dynamite and Chintam are releasing the second compilation in their WAMONO A to Z series, WAMONO A to Z Vol. II – Japanese Funk 1970​-​1977, via 180g this February.

The term Wamono encompasses a wide array of vintage Japanese records, ranging from funk and disco to soul and jazz.

In volume two, Yoshizawa Dynamite and Chintam select Japanese music from artists including Hiroshi Sato, Pinky Chicks, Fujio Tokita, and Mieko Hirota.

It follows WAMONO A to Z. Vol. I, exploring Japanese rare groove and jazz funk records – one of our favourite records in 2020.
