Pro-Ject is releasing a new turntable, called the X2 B, this August.

The turntable builds on the company’s earlier X2 model, with balanced XLR outputs aiming to offer improved audio dynamics and playback.

“The big advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to remove picked up noise and interference,” the manufacturer explains.

The X2 B includes a pre-installed Ortofon Quintet Red cartridge, fitted on a 9” carbon-aluminium tonearm.

The turntable will retail in the UK this August for £1,399.
