Bed-Stuy boogie HQ incoming.

NYC mixtape series turned online store, The Mixtape Club, are opening a brick-and-mortar shop in Brooklyn this weekend. Launched in 2009 as a 10-track monthly series, T.M.C. opened up their webstore last year, which cleverly allows you to click on any track from any mix to buy it in physical form.

Given how many incredible New York record stores shuttered in 2016, the shop is a welcome addition to Gotham’s vinyl scene. Though it hasn’t even opened yet, The Mixtape Shop also seems promising on the audio-front, with “listening stations, Klipschorns, an E&S DJR400 mixer and plenty of seating. Come for the records or just to hang out; this space is for everyone. In the coming weeks we’ll be adding coffee and food.”

To celebrate their opening week, the store is offering a 10% discount on all orders with code ‘OPENING’. Head to their site to find out more about the launch party this Saturday 15 June, and check out their excellent mixtape series archive.
