Long Live the Kane, a hip hop classic is back.

Big Daddy Kane sharpened his lyrical skills in Queens during the “golden age” of NYC hip hop in the eighties. A founding member of the legendary Juice Crew, alongside Biz Markie, Roxanne Shanté, and Kool G, Kane became as known for the speed he spits his rhymes and ability to syncopate them over fast beats, as he is for his thuggishly flamboyant persona.

Originally released in 1988 on Cold Chillin Records, his debut LP Long Live The Kane, is still regarded as one of the finest hip hop albums ever made.

Featuring singles like ‘Raw’ and ‘Ain’t No Half Steppin’, the iconic album, which sounds as fresh today as it did when it was released, is being remastered and reissued for the first time by Omertà Inc. on purple and gold effect vinyl, limited to 300 copies, as well as a purple and black split vinyl.
