
Beverly Glenn-Copeland’s life and musical impact explored in new film

Beverly Glenn-Copeland is the subject of a new documentary, titled Keyboard Fantasies, coming this October.

Directed by Posy Dixon, the film charts Glenn-Copeland’s life, as well as focusing on his reaction to becoming more widely recognised following the late discovery of his Keyboard Fantasies album.
“The film provides a vehicle for our newly appointed queer elder to connect with youth across the globe. A timely lullaby to soothe those souls struggling to make sense of the world.”
Alongside Keyboard Fantasies, Multimedia artist Wu Tsang also recently worked with Glenn-Copeland to create an eighty-four-foot curtain sculpture and “film portrait” of the artist at the Guggenheim.
Keyboard Fantasies will hit cinemas on 29th October 2021.
