Afro-Caribbean mixes with space disco on The Mauskovic Dance Band’s Soundway debut



It’s tropical synth conga line time.

Soundway Records is releasing the debut EP from The Mauskovic Dance Band this March.

Down In The Basement fuses traditional sounds including afro-columbian styles (champeta, cumbia and picó soundsystem culture) with afro-disco, no-wave and electronic flourishes.

The EP follows two 7″s The Mauskovic Dance Band released on Swiss label Bongo Joe Records in 2017.
