Guitarist Wilma Archer collaborates with MF DOOM on new album, A Western Circular

Featuring Sudan Archives, Laura Groves and Future Islands’ Samuel T. Herring.

Guitarist and composer Wilma Archer is releasing his debut solo album, titled A Western Circular, this April via Weird World Records.

A Western Circular has been in development for the past five years, and draws inspiration from American novelist John Fante as it works through themes of greed and loyalty.

The album features contributions from MF DOOM, alongside Sudan Archives, Laura Groves and Future Islands’ Samuel T. Herring.

A Western Circular follows Archer’s 2019 collaborative Burd LP with Pyramid Vritra, as well as his Scarecrow 12”, which was released via Weird World Record Co.
