Created by graphic designer Julia von Dorpp, Ex-TRACTS features 99 flyers from her personal archive, selected from a collection of 4,000.
The publication aims to explore the methods of communications used in UK rave flyers, examining the typography, symbols, photographs and logos used.
The project also seeks to position the flyers in a unique time period of analogue, British rave culture, asking: “what is our relationship to these archives printed in the time of social networks?”
