Tony Allen’s Secret Agent LP reissued
Remastered from the original tapes.
Legendary drummer and composer Tony Allen’s LP Secret Agent album is being reissued on vinyl, via World Circuit Records this May.
Originally released in 2009, Secret Agent saw Allen combining Afrobeat with tenor guitar, elements of jazz and funk, horn riffs, and “effervescent keyboards”.
World Circuit Records’ reissue features remastered audio, plus a booklet with the original 2009 sleeve notes.
It follows the posthumous release of Allen’s final studio album — There Is No End.
