If you’ve not got them already.
Last year, Parlophone announced that they would be reissuing a thirteen record retrospective box set of David Bowie’s iconic recordings between 1969 and 1973.
Now, in the wake of his passing (in what is hopefully just a coincidence), it looks like six albums from the box set will also see individual vinyl reissues.
As reported by Modern Vinyl, and confirmed by listings on Bullmoose and Resident, Space Oddity (1969), The Man Who Sold The World (1970), Hunky Dory (1971), The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars (1972), Aladdin Sane (1973) and Pinups (1973) will be available once more on feted 180g vinyl.
It’s not the first time Parlophone have tried to curry favour with Bowie fans, having already flogged 40th anniversary reissues of Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane in the last few years.
With Bowie’s final album Blackstar already sold out on vinyl across the UK, Official Charts Company also report that a further six classic albums have entered the Top 40 this week, with The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars already up to #19.
All six albums will be released on 26th February. [via Modern Vinyl]
