Across the 30-minute recording, Sakamoto uses guitar feedback, piano, analogue synthesizers and various sound objects to craft experimental, healing sonics.

The performance was originally broadcast as part of UCCA+ Kuaishou Sonic Cure programme – for people living in isolation in China.

“Let’s wash hands. Let’s keep social distance. Stay inside. stay home. I hope you enjoy the music,” shares Sakamoto.
