Ryuichi Sakamoto collaborates with Laurie Anderson on new audio-visual performance

Ryuichi Sakamoto is continuing his audio-visual Incomplete series with a new piece made in collaboration with Laurie Anderson, premiering this Wednesday, 24th June.

Alongside Anderson, the piece was also created in collaboration with American musician and producer Arto Lindsay, and NYC artist collective Zakkubalan.

“In these times when things are not ‘normal’, I wanted to document the sensations I’ve been feeling,” explains Sakamoto of the series.

To date, Sakamoto’s Incomplete series has featured collaborative pieces with artists including Alva Noto, Lenzan Kuda, and Marcus Fischer.
