Audio and DJ gear manufacturer Pioneer look to capitalise on the hike in vinyl sales by launching a vinyl-specific ad campaign.
Maybe the creatives at BBDO Proximity, the Berlin ad agency behind Pioneer’s latest campaign saw the stats: Vinyl sales are up across the board but 27% of record buying 18-24 year olds don’t own turntables.
Rather than create a new product, Pioneer have turned back to the classic PL-990 automatic turntable, in an unprecedented, but not particularly surprising move to advertise a product that has existed for years.
