On The Corner unveils new 24-track compilation, Door to the Cosmos

Featuring 28 artists including JD Twitch, Azu Tiwaline, Collocutor, Rebecca Vasmant and Afrikan Science.

On The Corner is releasing a new compilation, titled Door to the Cosmos, this September.

Marking the label’s 10th full-length release, the compilation features 28 artists: Azu Tiwaline, Cinna Peyghamy, Khalab, Dengue Dengue Dengue, JD Twitch, BKCLX, Edrikz Puzzle, Don Korto, Uffe, Planet Battagon, Clive From Accounts, Jose Marquez, Guedra Guedra, Tamar Collocutor, Don Korto, Ariwo, Batida, Karlon, Petwo Evans, Sunken Cages, Babani Soundsystem, and Collocutor, alongside remixes from Quixosis, Taxi Kabir, Afrikan Science, Iyer, Nicola Cruz and Rebecca Vasmant.

Door to the Cosmos takes its name from Sun Ra’s ‘Door of the Cosmos’ song and its lyric ‘dare to knock at the door to the cosmos.’

It follows the label’s forthcoming release of drummer Asher Gamedze’s debut album – Dialectic Soul – this July.
