Omar Santis crafts melodic house on new EP, Thursday Night Funktion

Featuring an Iron Curtis remix.

Tokyo-based producer Omar Santis has released a new EP, titled Thursday Night Funktion, via Phonica Records’ sub-label Karakul.

Across the EP Santis embarks on a journey from disco-infused house and vocal snippets, to melodic synths and conceptual vocals, alongside a remix from Iron Curtis.

The EP takes its name – Thursday Night Funktion – from Santis’s Tokyo club night Funkction, which is hosted every Thursday at Oath.

It follows Santis’ last EP on the label, Needs.
