Linde quit her job as a researcher in 1981, due to health issues, and subsequently devoted her time to music and painting. Borrowing a polymoog synth, a TEAC open reel tape recorder and a Moog Source, she set up her own home studio.
Later, she expanded her arsenal of synths and went on to compose over sixty pieces, with her archive remaining largely unpublished.
Compiled by Luis Alvarado, Aquatic and Other Worlds (1983-1989) collects Linde’s 1983-1989 compositions, and marks her first ever album release.
