A collaboration between French composer Hector Zazou, Congolese musician Bony Bikaye and composers CY1, as well as contributions from sound engineer Gilles Martin, Marc Hollander (Aksak Maboul) and Vincent Kenis (creator/producer of the Congotronics series), the LP was one of the first albums to fuse African music with electronic sounds.

The Noir Et Blanc reissue also comes with a booklet containing “new contributions by the participants, and previously un-released bonuses”.
