MT2 follows McIntosh’s MT10 turntable and MT5 – one of our favourite high-end turntables of 2016

Described by the company as ready to use “straight from the box”, the MT2 will retail for £4,999, significantly less than the MT5 (£8,200) and MT10 (£6,875).

The MT2 belt-drive model features an inner platter with CNC-precision milled aluminium, and McIntosh’s signature green glow underneath; its cartridge has an alloy cantilever and elliptical diamond stylus.

MT2 is available for pre-order now, shipping in May. Head here for more info.
